Any particular reason you use black compound for the basic ground cover instead of something closer to real stuff like brown?. Just curious. Jose.

Like the old masters here in Holland I start with the shadows Jose, theyre most of the times black brown..

I've seen folks paint mountains black then cover with 'tree' material and get a GREAT look....so I may try too.....
