I'm watching!!!!!!  & getting inspired.... Also trying to figure out how to adjust those bracing issues on the snowplow.

 Bernd,

Love the friction drive engine.  You need to finish that one first.  If you need a place to run it, I will lease some trackage rights over on the Ry River R.R. Micro Mini....always looking for new equipment for that run.

Ryan

OK Herb, I'm watching. Here's a photo of an HO Bachmann Shay perverted to Ontwoandahalf (On30) a few years back. The fuel bunker is slightly ajar because the battery and r/c board are inside and it wasn't put back in place...yet. Just a Banta cab and some PSC parts and it was good to go. This little lokie is owned by my friend Joe Bostick.

I'm watching! Ever since Steve moved to Australia, I've missed the chance to just "pop up the road" for the regular visits. Nice to see his stuff again. He does a rather decent job of things. :)

Dallas, you have stepped on the aorta of my heart.  All you need do is drive to Northeast and swim over, not far at all that way.  The other thing you could do is ride over with Uncle Martin, over the river, down through Rising Sun, then Elkton, and why you are almost there.  We miss your presents once in a while.  May 4th is coming real soon, maybe then?
Steve, with tongue firmly in cheek

Good morning Woodie,
I like real nice, I am heading to the dark side as well, going to use DAvid T's Del-Tang system, I blame it all on Steve Sherrill.  Looking at older pictures of you layout, is it outside all of the time orr something you take down and put up as the notion hits you?
Steve

Howdy Steve, the Mogollon Railway was born indoors many years ago and when I moved to take care of an older gent, it was either not have a layout or use his back yard. The MRy has been in place for about 7 years now through rain, wind, and snow. It is covered in bad weather but has been rained on a few times. The notion to take down is not in my brain, actually expansion will take place this summer. Since this thread is about On 2 1/2, I guess it's OK to admit that I build "On30 on steroids"...1:35n2.

Woodie,
that works for me.  I did try and almost converted the entire railroad into 3/8n40 and 3/8n2.  As much as I am in love with and have had a love affair for 30+ years with On 21/2, I would change in a heart beat, but the villagers would have my head on a pike pole.
I do have some models on the book shelf of the n40.  BTW for those of you wondering what I am talking about 3/8n40 is using O scale standard gauge stuff and the 2' is using the On30 stuff.  I would never sacrifice any of my On2 1/2 stuff, just the On30.
OK, time for trains.

Very nice thread going on here, I am enjoying it very much.

A number of my On30 conversions were converted to Gn15 when I dabbled in that scale/gauge for a time. Those conversions are now back in the part bin awaiting rebirth, Hindi style.

Would be nice to get the other Rail Barons on this forum.

I am still a subscriber to the GAZETTE, although it is rare for any mention of the White Pass & Yukon Route is covered in that publication.

On30 is On30, no one ever called HOn30 anything but HOn30, right ?

OK - first a map of Steve's empire,

Steve says no one ever got lost in there--yeah--and I'm the Easter Bunny!

Steve put captions on all the photos, but with the way I transferred them to my Gallery it is difficult to re-unite the photo with its explanation. Sorry, but they are great scenes, and any questions, I know that Steve will answer.
