Charley like i said earlier, hopefully woodie can play around and disect this loco and figure out whats wrong and fix it so it runs like its supposedf too. Plus write his finding in this thread as a help for others to fix their own locos.

Its a win win , we hope.

WOODIE SAYS ITS ALL FIXED AND ON ITS WAY BACK TO ME AFTER A TRIP AROUND HIS FRIEND "BILLS" LAYOUT.

SAID HE HAD TO TEAR IT RIGHT DOWN TO FIND THAT A MOTOR RETAINING CLIP WAS NEVER INSTALLED RIGHT AT THE FACTORY , TO HOLD THE MOTOR DOWN.

ITS THE LONG TIME EXPERIENCE  :old dude::old dude:OF WORKING ON LOCOMOTIVE ENGINES , THAT ALLOWS PEOPLE LIKE TO WOODIE TO HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE AND THE COURAGE  TO TEAR INTO THESE AND REPAIR THEM.

MOST OF USE GET EXTREMELY NERVOUS REDUCING OUR LOCOS TO A PILE OF PARTS ON THE TABLE, BEST PART IS TRYING TO GET THEM BACK TOGETHER IN THE SAME ORDER AS THEY CAME APART :bang:,  TAKE A BOW WHEN YOU DO :thumb: .
