I mentioned this once and will again...The MP&MWRR had some tight curves (and grades). There was a 70' radius-SEVENTY FEET- which handled 65 ton standard gauge Shays and 40 foot tourist cars. In 1:48 (O scale) that is 17"-SEVENTEEN INCH RADIUS. Now, what is all that about "curves too small" jabber we hear?
BTW-they also used an old San Francisco cable car on standard gauge trucks as a "passenger" car.
Now...where are those nitpickers?
