Crookedest ! :)

Another nice photo of Mill Valley Depot.

The name of the railroad is billed differently, to that in the book.
Railroads change their names all the time, of course !

All the best.

Cheers

Si.

And there is a never modelled detail: a door cut into a wall sign. Jose.

And for those of you who like complicated things, the MT&MWRR connected with a 3 foot gauge line and an overhead trolley line, all 3 arrived at the Mill Valley station. For the modeler who wants everything...mountains, docks, standard gauge, narrow gauge, trolleys, and gravity cars through the redwoods. And there was a bar (tavern) at the top of the mountain.

Woodie

The first tavern at the summit of Mt. Tam.

" What they make the beer with there ? ...

... Maybe it's the altitude ! "

Mill Valley Depot :cb:

WOW !!

Pretty busy at Mill Valley Depot !!! :thumb:

Dual gauge trackage in evidence.

A bunch of gravity-cars this side of the platform, by the looks of.

Funky Shay waiting to blast-off to the summit with a BIG excursion train...

...lil' ol' gravity-car pushed in front.

:moose:
  Si.

Perhaps in fact; the cars this side of the platform; are the 'wide-gauge' items ...

... ?

Look 'centred' on the rails to this ol' fool ! :old dude:

An original railroad brochure ... ( hover mouse & press 'SHIFT + R' for better image).

1 Buck 50 for the ride of your life !

Not a bad price ... for a 'Crooked Railroad' !

:moose::rah::moose:

If you're sharing a gravity-car with a couple of Mooses ...

... try not to flap-around too much ...

... they might not like it !
