I think I mentioned it much earlier in this thread,
I got to see Bob's aerial tramway in action,
at a long ago St. Louis (I believe) NMRA convention,
where he won every award there was.
 
The 2 modules were set on tables about maybe 10 feet apart,
and the cage with log car ran back & forth.
An amazing thing to see.

I looked high & low on Google Images etc. etc. to try & find some pics. of 'em ...

... couldn't find a darn thing !  :us:

Nope, that isn't a Don Winters car, it is an HOn3 scratchbuilt car, the Mich Cal had skeleton log cars also.
The Don Winters car was (apparently) a large scale model which resembled a disconnected log car.
There are photos of both types in the Pino Grande book...worth buying a copy no matter the price.
