Hi Charley

Nice one on the new cards & card pockets...

... " Boxcars all acounted for SIR !! " :Salute:

I did try to understand the card-system a few pages back... :dope:
...but must admit, I didn't !

I'm sure it is actualy very simple 'when yer know how'... :old dude:
...merch. from A>B & C>D etc.
+ a 'random' dice throw or 2.

(some say there is no such thing as a 'random movement' on a 1:1 RR)
Mmmm...
L: ???

- - - - - - -

" See the strange bubbles coming out of the ground in the last pix? "

" Aliens are living under his layout--and don't want their cover blown "

Hi Herb

I did notice that...
...you could be right.

My next door neighbour has The Complete X-Files DVD Box Set...
...& wears aluminium-foil under their bobble-hat.
I'll show them the photo for a 2nd opinion.

A strange cube-like object with dots on...
...has emerged from the ground behind the switch-tower. :us:

This analog-randomizing-computer, on the green-felt...
...seems to indicate '2' to RR observers in the airplane above.

:brill:

?

Cheers

Si.

"One if by land, two if by sea--and I on the opposite shore shall be, ready to ride and spread the alarm to every middlesex, village and farm."

Now this may not translate too well to folks in Blimey or Oz, who have might not have gotten over the incident------

Or care for the comparison.

Herbie

:!:Bright ideas for sortin' out your switchin' !

Charley's been busy over the weekend gettin' his cars organised ... YESIR! :Salute:

&

The latest analog-computer technology ...
... is being installed at 'Tidewater'
(Nr. Area-51 Nevada)

Charley's new MKII 'Tidewater' is an 8x8ft L-shape at the moment.
I figure there's 2 new card-pockets; 1 for each leg of the L-shape.
Makes sense to me !

Cards close-up.
Lots of information for the waterfront despatchers !

I'm not sure if the cards in this pic. are temporarily leaning against their cars 'cos the pockets aren't ready yet...
or
...'cos that's what happens when a train is made up.
Charley ?

I saw in the pics. of Charley's MKI 'Tidewater', cards placed like this...
...but all the card-pockets were finished there.

I figure it's part of 'the system'
(which I will understand...e-v-e-n-t-u-a-l-y-!)

Si.

Si , Woodrow fellers..Erb..

You are doing a fine job..

the foto with the bits loose is the kit before building. The car cards system is up and running just that fast..a hoot

..although the car float is not done..and the lead is only a pinch for three cars..the car float will be six cars..so odd things are happening down to the docks..thanks again..

Hi Mr.C & fellow card-sharps ! :thumb:

The one that got away...
...yeah, right ... 50ft long with bells on !

Nar ... !

But -

The photo of Charley's 2nd strip of card-pockets...
...for the 2nd leg of his new L-shaped MKII 'Tidewater' layout.

Not much action down at 'Gieger Gravel' on a Sunday...
...gargantuan amounts of grade-A gravel need shiftin' Monday, for sure !

This, I believe is the left-leg of the L-shape layout...
...the previous pix. & card-pockets were of/on the right-leg of the L-shape.

Cheers

Si.

P.S.

Perhaps 'Gieger Gravel' should get into the mining biz.

A 200ft vertical shaft...
...and they would hit the MOTHER-LODE of paint-tubes & coffee cups !! :java:

:bg:
