A whole lotta limestone ... headin' down to the waterfront at 'Tidewater'

Are prototype yards simpler than those on model railroads ?

Mmm ... 8 switches ...

Meanwhile down on the waterfront at Charley's MKII 'Tidewater' ...

All lit up & luggin' limestone !

No problem Charley; you're a gent...
...unlike those House Of Commons types !

I tell yer...
...If they had a bar like that on the main-street...
...It'd get called 'a rough house' and closed down for sure.

If the people of a great city vote Boris in for a 2nd term...
...yer know things are goin' down the john for sure !

Thank god for model railroading !

- - - - - - -

Here are some of Charley's hot proto-photos...
...from Mr.C's recent visit to the 'Bay Area Electric Railway Museum'.

The Sacramento Northern.

Nice steeple-cab Chas.
DCC by the looks of.

Nice to be out & about...
...to get those hot-shots of the real thing !

All the best.

Cheers

Si.

Charley, Si,

I like the look of the boxcab loco. Well done!

In the second pic of the real thing that Si posted there are a bunch of ore cars, does anyone has more info about them? I like them and I need a few orecars for my own layout.

Thanks, Alwin

I think Alwin means the 'old school' hoppers / ore-cars, in Post #34; from your RR Museum pix. Charley.

Could be wrong though.

Alwin ?

Cheers

Si.
