I have a digitrax zephyr for my dcc and recently acquired a couple of locos that were programmed with an NCC system. Is it possible to reprogram them with my digitrax system.

Thanks

markh

As far as I know, it does not matter which system programs the decoder. I use a Prodigy advanced system and not had any problems programming any decoder so far.

thanks for the info, but does it hold true that even if they have already been programmed with a different system, they can be "reprogrammed" again.

Yes they can be programed on any DCC system that follows the DCC Standards and RP's. NCE and Digitrax do. Use the Program track. If they are 'Sound' decoders they may need a Program Buster.
