I picked up an older 6-wheel Plymouth in 1/48 scale (O scale ill guess ;)) at the hobby shop for cheap. Being that I love narrow gauge anyone know what the scale would be classified as if you took a "G gauge" train and put it on O-gauge track would it work out to something like Gn30 or am I creating something no one has thought up of yet.

The other main reason why i was thinking of doing narrow gauge is I want to get rid of the hideous motor in the train. It runs "ok" but it is crazy loud and not to smooth. I have a nice pancake motor but its a little to big for the existing chassis I have so simple thought process was make a new "shell" in a larger scale and life is good :thumb:

Pics of the loco later and for now the idea is just an idea!

See the next thread, posted by Dawg--too many mistakes in the post that I made.  Thanks Bob!

Ahh I had a feeling it would be like 7/8" gauge but wasn't fully sure. The idea of it makes a lot of sense. Now I really could have fun making a "micro" layout :)
