" I have tried to base the scenery on my layout on this area "

Hi Peter

You have certainly succeeded with the woods & tramways track ...

... Martins Creek is one of the best scenes for logging trains I've seen.  :thumb:

Thank you Si. for your comments,
they are greatly appreciated.

I must admit that scene is my favourite spot of the layout,
and it looks even better through a lens.

Just to make it more realistic, there is a sound module in the forest,
that plays birds and forest sounds, when someone moves in the area.

Maybe someone has gone too far,
but it is all part of the hobby trying to create realism.

At least there are no snakes,
well I hope not.

I have just finished a project for a friend that has had a good result.

He wanted a bright blue tractor weathered to go under a farming shed roof.
Although the true dark colour is not shown in the pics,
it is a dark rusty colour that he wanted.

It was an interesting project and he is happy with the results and is 1:48 scale.

Not a hard model to weather,
but it was a challenge to make it look right.
