wow, the interior work is fantastic, wall paper is out of sight, the benches and tools are great as is THE THING. The books , red chair and on and on !!!!

The only thing I would have done differently is to use scribed siding 1/32" thick to do the wainscoting trim, It would just follow the exact wall shape. But seeing as how nobody is going to see it unless you make the roof removable.?????

VERY NICE

I give you 3 :old dude::old dude::old dude:

Thank you chasv and Mike.

Thank you Mike for the comment, yes in prototype there would be a trim.
I'm aware of this but thought the illusion will work without.
Sometimes I have to stop myself not to get lost in this dollhouse details as I have to finish a whole module

But yes, looking at the pictures, it's missing, it shouldn't stay without.

Hi,

after long time I could achieve some progress with my building. Rain gutters and downpipes are still missing as well as some details. Also the final placing of building and trees may alter a bit and the wrought iron fence on the roof terrace is to heavy I think.

I renamed the inventor to Dr. James Isaac Sartorius. In my background story he may be a british scientist, who settled down on Toeffelholm, as he got an employment at Toeffelholm University.

From time to time his girl friend, who wants to be a writer, comes for a visit to read her newest poems to him. But this isn't finally fixed.

Very nice Juergan, but we still don' know the significance of the rune-----

Or of the Easter Island escapee either, for that matter!

Hi Herb,

i think the meaning of the rune stone will remain a secret. According to the chronicles, no one was able to find a meaningful translation of the character sequence. I sympathize with Prof. Alfredsson opinion that the "writer" was dead drunk when he carved that.

Don't know if Dr. Sartorius has ever considered the rune stone question. Perhaps I find something in his personal notes. He was very clever and his family was convinced that he inherited the genius of his 1891 deceased uncle, after whom he was named. James was never proud of this branch of his family and preferred to adopt the maiden name of his mother.

To the second, I guess you mean this patagonian toddling greedy bird. Yes, I think he will take the next opportunity to riffle through Sartorius' trash barrel.
But up to now the Dr. hasn't one.

Perhaps the lil' B&W flapper could show up in the Dr's water-barrel !

When the new guttering has filled it up of course.

The weather on Toeffelholm looks pretty good for the time of year though...

...time for a glass of Aqua-Vit & an outdoor poetry reading !

Great work Juergen !

All the best.

Cheers.

Si.
