Has anyone tried hooking up an MRC 4 amp booster to an NCE Power Cab? Since the booster doesn't appear to be a smart booster, and simply provides more power, it appears as though you could plug it into any DCC system. Anyone tried this, or know about it's compatibility?

I'm talking about this booster:

Reason being is the NCE boosters are much more expensive than this one, but the NCE starter systems are cheaper than Digitrax's comparable starter systems.

That is NOT a booster, that is only the power supply for one.

Well, I guess that's why it was $50 instead of $175.
