TexMex border NG eh ?. Just go all the way Woodie and do the NdeM.
I was wandering whether you had renegotiated RR ROW rights over the new living room but now a garage instead. Did the hurricane affect you ? - I don't know where Royce C is.
Regards, Michael (currently listening to TexMex Rock on Spotify, should be modelling)

Howdy Michael, the hurricane hit Houston, we are about 350 miles away. Royse City is about 30 miles east of Dallas, a million miles away from big city foolishness!
Naw, I will consider the Big Bend area, it has big mountains, canyons, creeks & rivers, little places with Spanish names, all the stuff I love. When I looked at this house I have now, I wanted it for the garage. 2cars large, insulated, finished inside, a window for an A/C unit, and "French" double doors to the outside...in other words-the kind of place a model railroader would drool over! No auto will be housed there, just my shop and layout. I care more about my trains than some silly old Jeep!
Old Tex-Mex rockers: Sam the Sham & the Pharoes, Question Mark & the Mysterians, Sir Douglas Quintet, Texas Tornadoes, Freddy Fender, I could go on & on...it's a cultural thing here anyway. Willie Nelson has sung some Mexican songs also!

You 'Texicans' certainly know how to land on your feet, Spirit of The Alamo 'n all that.
Insulated, internally finished - probably hot & cold running whisky as well, served by John Wayne (better still, Jane Russell).
Thanks for those Band names, I'll see if I can find any downloads. I remember Grandad going on about Freddie Fender (unfortunately so do I, doesn't seem all that long ago either). Anno Domini (Aged Dodderer).
Regards, Michael

Daniel, now you have found another old manuscript of a lost narrow gauge. Well then, check out Big Bend narrow gauge here...I haven't posted anything lately due to many things happening but the railway survives and thrives. A good bit of the Silver City layout was "rehabilitated" for the new layout. I am too old to start all over so I just used what worked.

Yes, Woodie.I am busy with that thread already.
But ...'too old"?
That begins when you realize a garden has grown above your belly, not before!!!
