Bill , fellers..

Wul , get to blushin...I watched as you brushed yerself up into quite the modeller..I ain't just sayin..

I also say..oft and early..almost anybody can make good models..{I think..?.}..if they approach the thing systematically..It is a learned thing..

Once somebody { Pat Patterson , a fellow who I respected.}..who knew me early on at the sacramento model railroad club said..about me..that back then ,they said.."I was a natural.."

wul..whot they didn't know..was I had been building plastic models since I was about nine years old..and having an older brother who spoke of colour schemes of this or that WWII fighter ..blue on the undersides..and the colours above..we were painting eyeballs in these HO guys..back then..dash gauges and stuff..

It might be that I can paint , or "see" colours..light and the varying things...I only transfer whot I see ...how has this become about me..?.dang it...you do good Bill..and I say so..good for you..

Welcome aboard, Bill! That is a great little loco!

Compared to yours, my layout is small scale -- "only" 1/24th! :)

Sweet! I would love to see that one in person. I really enjoyed seeing the articles on it in the Gazette.

Thanks for the kind words, Ray.  I'm a big fan of your modeling and the In-ko-pah railroad.  I still can't believe you leave those beautiful buildings outdoors.

Here's another view of my little "Vulcanesque" critter.

Bill,

Thank you for sharing. That is an excellent model and I envy your modelling skills.

Well done
