guys, are the blue point switch machines compatible with DCC?L: I purchased a few and have read they cant be used with DCC. help is needed and appreciated. thanx.....steve

this is silly gibberish spread by certain people. These are hand-operated DPDT switches to route your frog's polarity properly, and provide an elastic throwover for the tongues. Use them where a motor-driven turnout would be overkill.

I will be mounting my blue points this week and have DCC. If you locomotives are long enough, you don't even need to wire anything and simply use them as a mechanical aid to simply reaching over and moving the points by hand.
I'm lucky in that all my On30 ten-wheelers well span the turnouts for electircal contact, so I don't need to wire anything on my blue points when I mount them.

I still back-up the switch rails connection to the stock rails even though I am modelling 1:45, maybe I am paranoid about connectivity?
