Here's a quick self-portrait I shot in front of the layout recently:

Neat! Nice to put a face with the name. Especially of a famous person!

Hello Ray,

So which one is you ?.

The chap with the Standard Gauge beard & the silly hat or that good looking engineer leaning out the cab window of Loco No 1 ?.

Regards,               Michael

Ray, there's a train going by behind you, you're in the way...

...I'm kidding of course. I've never really liked selfies that much, but this one is an exception. If my friends and family took more selfies like you Ray, I might visit my Facebook more often.

I don't have any photos of myself with trains that are recent, and I DON'T do 'selfies'. I will use a tripod and timer if I need to, though. I do have a few shots from the past.
Most of the photos I have are me with stuff like this.
Orion capsule trainer, Huntsville:

And doing 'talking head' work on TV for the History Channel:

But as for trains, here I am with ET&WNC # 12 at Blowing Rock, NC from a few years back:

Osier, CO on the Cumbres and Toltec:

Lee, was that on R Lee Ermey's show from about 10 years ago? I see a machine gun mounted to a jeep behind you.

Y'know, I didn't really ponder that. Yeah, I guess it was a really long time ago now. It's the only thing I have a still from, among several TV things I've done over the years.
