You think you could make a train run on magnetic attraction alone?
I had a return trip on this in April. So smooth you do not know you are doing 431kmh....

Hello Herb, you might be thinking of the so called "rail-gun" - actually nothing to do with our kind of rail. Previously promoted as a potential (enemy) satellite destroyer in President Reagan's 'Star Wars' project.
The "Maglev" railroad concept was based on roughly the same general principle; there is one short line in China but I don't know of any other.
