Funny you should ask, Jose !!






Above is Penrhyn Rly hand cranked workmen's car.  Eight seater, max speed reported as 40 mph !. Crews used to race each other but then abandoned as too dangerous. The hand cranks could not be disengaged so whirling around at 40 mph caused a few broken arms.





Above is a "Pedal-car" , same principle as a kiddie's pedal-car. Push feet against the long, horizontal black bars with the wooden rollers at the ends.






Above is the Dinorwic Quarry Rly (Penrhyn Rly) Chief Engineer's Inspection "Car".

All 4' 0" gauge.
