hmmm... a Mercedes bus on rails. Steering wheel still in place, I wonder if it was a hi-rail... There WERE two speeders on the route, one with a crew, and two guys digging drainage ditches... MOW in action...
That was fun, thanks for the link I spent a lot of time in Latin America and that makes me wish I had more time there yet. Oh well, there are other videos to watch.
At the time I was visiting Peru the shining path was still very active ,we where advised not to visit Huancayo because of my mh western appearance(cowboy boots,full beard)despite the good warning we made it to Huancayo by bus,the rail from lima to Huancayo was still blown to pieces partially other wise we would have gone by train!

Cool video. I couldn't tell from the vid but many times railcars/busses still had a steering wheel-used as a brake. Yep, the unused wheel was hooked up to the brake linkage and was "familiar" to train crews who turned wheels to hold cars. This info comes from RR employees who ran railcars, etc.
