Worked on a steam loco headlight gen. I always loved steam engines and really loved narrow gage like Silveron. I am working on a small On30 but have a lot to learn. Previous model RR experience was as a kid with American flyer. This DCC system is a far cry from that.

Howdy Mike & welcome to Freerails. Yes, you can get the best info here and we are here to help. On the switch (turnout) situation, the switch companies seem to come & go these days. You know, there are several great tutorials and threads here on this site about building your own switchwork. It's much easier than you think to make your own. Curved switches are pretty easy and the three ways just look complicated but just take a bit of time.
Ask the questions and we can help.

It doesn't matter if you win or lose, its' how you rig the game.
