Good Evening All,

I am looking to buy a decoder to fit a Walthers GP9m, i would like to add sound at some point (not sure of the feasibility of this). as the history of my line progresses these are the 'first' locomotives obtained by my line (name still in the air)and I am looking for the right set of decoders. I have used NCE and Digitrax before but im not sure which one to choose.

Ken

The is no one best decoder, all the manufactures make good ones.

Digitrax makes a line that is easy to add sound with their sound add on board. Several others make 'add on sound' decoders.

Find the one you feel best meets your needs. Yes you may have to try decoders from several manufactures to do that.

Nathan
