Evening Tim and Si, there is another way to post you tube links, as usual win10 the you tube link doesn't work on mine  so on the k board you hit the ctrl and V key and that bring the any link you choose , right click the YT link hit copy and bingo link is in your reply, much the same when posting the pics from gallery for win10.

Here is a short video that will blow you away if I had a few thoudand to spare would by it save space in the layout and points.

Si I am still having that issue with the background colours coming up, every reply I do a preview now I clean them out , enjoy the video.
Saw on the news the other night you are still rugged up, the warm days are coming to an end here was nice here yesterday 31 degrees

Hi Tim and all If you use the link icon, for some display schemes the link option appears not to be working well. The link icon now requires a title to work. This title is what will appear in the Reply panel, This was not so previously before the server meltdown last year. Using the link icon I added a link to one of my Youtube clips. It is hiding behind "sawmill" below.  sawmill This can be got around by manually typing  in url inside square brackets [], inserting the Youtube link, and then typing /url inside square brackets to close the link code.  Do not leave any blanks between the squared brackets. This will create a live link that can be clicked on to open the YouTube in another tab, and leave your FreeRails tab live as well. Using this method  the same Youtube looks like:https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=QIoyPhv6OXQ    I hope that this helps to get you posting workable YouTube links,

Hi Tony
Hopefully might work now without a Google sign on?? I've gone back and doctored the kinks manually.

I think that Google has made some changes to Youtube (now a secure site? The video was and still is set as "public"

As Alice said - "Curiouser and curiouser"
