Eddie,

If you go to the Bachmann Forum Sign In you automatically are at the place where you type in your name.

http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/board/index.php?action=login

On both my Win 7 with IE and my Debian with FireFox I have to click on the place to enter my name for Freerails.

This may be a problem of the software used for the this form, but it would be one less thing to do each login.

Nathan

HI Tony,
In Windows 7 and IE10, I run with 2 tabs up -
Tab 1 - is the message I'm currently working on
Tab 2 - is the Gallery - Now there are a few extra steps here that will help you find your photos in specific albums -

Step 1 - Menu > Galley

Step 2 - Click the alphabetical letter for you user sign-on - (T for TonyM)

Step 3- Scroll down until you find your user name - beside it is a list of your albums - Double click on the album you want (say Camdale Station Complex) 11 photos will display You can now check what you have previously uploaded to this album and make sure that the photo you want to post is where you think it is.

Now back in Tab 1 - your message - add your text and scroll to where you want to insert your first photo.

Step 1  - Click G button  - A pop-up "All your photos" appears

Step 2 -  At top left of pop-up -click the album you want

Step 3 - if necessary, use Next/Previous links to display the photo you want to post

Step 4 - left click on photo and it appears in the message like below (one of my photos)

Step 5- add text and then repeat steps 1 to 4 to add your next photo

Next photo

Hint - use the Preview button to see how your message looks - When you are happy with everything, click the "Post Reply" and you are done :2t:

I hope that this gets your sorted,

OK, I now have a problem...After all these years and having no problems whatsoever and even getting a "new" computer from Mr. K...as of today-1/2/17- when I want to reply to a thread or send a photo from my gallery (which worked yesterday) the damn thing says "browser not supported" and just looks at me. I am a computer doofus so don't tell me to just hit the IP on the DOL and double click on TR and then 1/2 BS...yadda yadda. What the hell is going on? It's things like this that makes me want to send the whole thing to "file 13".
What to do? Why can't my browser browse any more???

Woodie-an Outlaw with a 'tude

***By GOD it did reply! Is it fixed?***

OK, It's the G function that don't like me! God, I hate computers!

Hi Nathan

I am not sure I understand what you mean

The Freerails login seems quite standard to me

The software shows the user name and password boxes

So does the site you linked to

Am I missing something ?

What happened ? It's 2017 ALREADY ?

:f:

Eddie,

Yes, the boxes show, but the cursor is not in the box, I have to move it to there from where I do not know. The Bachmann site has it there as soon as the login shows on the screen.

Hi Nathan

That is normal operation.

Loads of 'boxes' initially appear without cursors.

It is up to the user to 'choose' where they want to position the cursor next.

So they make the cursor appear, just as entering an 'edit' in a word-processor, for example.

HI John, this is how I broke past the having to have a URL link to post pics, first up I joined imgur as when you  copy a photo you have a choice of links the best link I picked and Free Rails excepted is a direct link, this is where it get hard but we got around it.
At the top of the left hand page you open two new tab pages not splitting the screen as I said this is step one, next pose be step two then step three, of course you must preview each upload and leave enough space for typing.

Part one .
