I've never heard Herb so pissed-off on the cellphone before

" GALLERY'S GONE MISSING !? "

There's a lot of thieves about these days
We'll get the guys !
We dug the lime-pit in the desert for em already
You should be able to post photos as an attachment for now though

All the photos in the Gallery appear to be still there
The button to use it has become invisible to some Members though
Clif used the Gallery to post his creepy-house photos OK yesterday
He can obviously see the 'G' button, so can Herb & Woodie, I can't see it here though

It's still being investigated as to why this is happening

Stay outta trouble !

:f:

Eddie

Hi Martin

Sorry to hear about this

Just took a look at the problem
I'm afraid to say that 'Dirty Stuff' is the 9th Thread found with the same problem
It can't create new pages

What is already there seems like it will be OK and viewable still
But you will have to start a 'Dirty Stuff' part-2 to continue posting
The affected threads all seem to have been at the top of their Forum when the server crashed

Keep yer chin up !

:f:

Eddie

Hi Martin

The Thread was locked since no new posts will show up anyhow
The other 8 Threads that can't create new pages have been locked as well
There are a number of part-2s already started for further posting
It aint the best news in the world but at least we didn't get hit by a meteorite !

To view the thread as normal you should click on the page No. on the left-side of the Forum
Clicking on the right-side last-post will return a 'page not found' message
This is because the page has not been created & does not exist

Martin, your post from today is now there, I moved it back one post from the 'ghost page'
All pages & posts including todays are now viewable from the left-side page index

It's a dirty business !

Out of curiosity, these threads don't happen to be the ones which were updated or added to during our recent system collapse, are they?

I'm sure most everyone remembers a couple weeks back that the forum completely collapsed, and admin got the forum back up and running, but there were some glitches since then of forums dissappearing, dates being changed to Jan1st, 1970.

Is it possible that while those problems were being corrected, the fix affected topics which were active and being added onto in the meantime?

Just trying to figure out what the heck is going on, just like the rest of us.

Maybe that explains why nobody "remembers the 60's" - they never happened.

Does that mean I can maybe get a refund on all that alimony I paid to the woman I married in that decade, prior to 00.00.00  ?.

Hopefully,      Michael

I don't remember nuthin' - I was there (somewhere) in the 60s.

Grammatically I agree with you - no ( ' ) because nothing is missing & no use of the Possessive. Our newspaper typographers often use that construction however.
Well observed !
