Temperatures are not much different then DU,
I did miss out on a 45+cm Snowfall while DU though!.

Still need to get past May 24th weekend, usually last Snowfall of Winter.

Picked up a few items at the convention and a Haskell NA at Puffin Billy gift shop.
Have a few Victorian Railways items of rolling stock and plan a diorama around what I have.

Hi Ken,

still snowing 45 cm's a fair bit then.

It is still warm here, they are are nice 26 degrees and 12 over night.
Not sure what to ware on Saturday, 11 degrees.
Be up early 60 am that morning to a very long day.

Can't wait to see you make a start on the diorama of the Victorian railways,
is it the Puffing Billy you be modelling, never been on that train, one day.

We had a train show in Brisbane last weekend,
and I bought a new loco NR class Indian Pacific colour scheme,
and gave my Sons Thomas loco to have a new replacement motor put in it,
27 years old that loco is.

I be pretty busy after this weekend,
finishing the bridge off and getting back into Camdale again.

Got 4 months to do,
so my Son's Thomas and two coaches be the first train to run on my layout,
and over the bridge to meet up with my Indian Pacific train,
on my Son's anniversary of him passing away 9-11-2017.

The diorama will likely be based on scene's of interest in Tasmania.

The Hercules tram line at Roseberry, Lake Rosebery,
and the railway bridge and stamp mill remains of the Bischoff Tin mill in Waratah.

Most of the required items I all ready have, just need it to come together in one place.

When they become available will you be picking up a set of NR #30 & 52 from SDS,
they would look great on a train.
I am tempted myself to pick up a set, need to clear trip cost off first.

Looking forward to the finished bridge and the first operation on it,
certain your son would have been thrilled to see it also.
