Hi Bob,

Your coach and gondala are great!

Don't you have any trouble with the weight of the wagons because they are made of light materials.

Last year I made a cattle wagon of wood but it derails quickly so it needs some extra weight.

Hi Alwin,

unless it is blowing a gale they do stay on the track.
Most have some lead weight in them.

cheers
Bob

Nice piece of work    :moose: :moose: :moose: :moose:

It would be good to see four or five coaches behind a 38.

.............Peter.

Hi Bob,

A quick question if I may?

What did you you use for/how did make your marker lights on the ACM?
I have a query about NSWGR marker lights from a modeller on another forum.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi Peter,

these coaches only ran singly.
They were the whole train by the time they got to the end of the run on branch lines.
The rest of the carriages not progressing past the end of the main line.

As for the 38, that is another big job.

John,

the lights are a small piece of black painted pop stick wood,
with a blob of water based Kwik Grip which has some red paint added once the blob dries.

Cheers
Bob

Hi Bob,

It might not be "dead scale" but it has the "look" of some of the ex-NSWGR lamps I've seen.

Thanks again for the reply.
