" Maybe take a look at the Yosemite Lumber Co tank car ... with the filling hatch at one end.

the oddball car would fit in with the MM Railway, having been picked up from another railway "

Hi    Ken

Mmm ...  L:

It looks a bit too lashed-up & kinda clunky to me.  ;)

You know how I'm after that chic, mooodern, streamlined look ...  :shades:

... for my 1:35n2 narrow gauge 'Tri-ang' BASHes !  :P

The 1964 'Tri-ang' 10th Edition Catalogue, swingin' '60s look would be ideal !

I wonder if I could BASH that nice red Inspector Morse Jag ...  ???

... from one of my knackered out covered hoppers ?  L:

:java: :moose: :dt:

Will take a look at my LHS for Inspector Morse's Jag,

they get a lot of used die cast car & trucks from estate sales,

never know what may turn up. :us:

One kit I have come across in 1/35th is for the pre war Scammell,

would like one in 1/48th scale, have to keep on looking.  :f:

Cor

Will have to order one from my LHS.

Somewhere I have a few photos of one traveling through Argentina in the 1930s,

will need to dig them out.

Hi Cor

Yes 'Thunder Models' do have a nice looking 1:35 kit.  :)

'Thunder Models' also now have a 1:35 Caterpillar SIXTY !  :mex: :thumb:

I'm not sure if this is the 'Thunder Models' or 'IBG' 1:35 kit ?  ???

Was in a bit of a rush, when I grabbed the pic ^^ off Google Images.

I'll have to look back again ...

... It's a bit BIG !   for my lil' ol' 2' funky junkque R.R. though.  :f:

Si

Placed an order for a 1/48th Scammell Pioneer at my LHS today,
could be a while before it shows up.

Not like I have nothing to do at the present.

:us: :us:

Picked up some timber for the 3 rail tram I need for the diorama I am working on
Did find a container of ties (sleeper's) I could use.

Hi    Ken

I'm sure you're gonna have a good truck there !  :thumb:

Oh ... the temptation.  ;)

I am on a def. KIT BAN at the moment.

BUT ... I am slightly tempted by an 'Academy' 1:35 M3 Stuart tank !  :Salute:

Quite popular post WWII for its sensible size, weight & reliable chassis.

Buy from your local main-dealer ... They'll crane orf the gun turret for you ...  :dt:

... & Bob's yer Uncle ... Ready for that weird & wacky logging/mining conversion !
