Hello BobD,

Thanks for your good wishes. I tried to PM you with an important point concerning ladder work but your PMs switched off.

Regards, Michael

Hi Si. Diorama No. 2 nearer the truth, amateur stretcher handling & broken stretcher rals etc. No stubble, that grew later after 3 days in intensive care ward.

Madame considering reporting you to the Style Police for your "portrayal" of her fashion sense !

Cheers Michael

Michael's plight did have perfect timing, because this was the subject of our safety meetings over the last few weeks.  Here's one of the videos (of course the Boston boys don't wear hard hats or safety glasses, but they don't screw around with ladders, go figure )

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ap243_DAijs

BTW, if you ignore the video, it's completely normal to do so.

Hi Michael & Madame S.

What portrayal ??
Madame S. is not in the diorama !

Look at the 'super details' !!

The actual NURSE FIGURE...
...wears white, same as the stretcher-bearers.
Has the 'blue medical logo' on blouse.
& has a standard issue, upside-down pin-watch !

:moose:

Si.

I have some very glamourous LEGO figures, wearing Dior...
...probably impress Madame S. !

;)

Hello Michael,

Wow! When you do something, you do it thoroughly. I am sorry to hear that you were injured - it sounds like your recovery will take some time.

On the other hand, I hope you are feeling well enough to do some hobby-related things - reading, model building, etc.

Get well soon,

Keith

Understood.

Madame says I'll have to wait till I'm feeling better before she wears her 'Nurse Outfit' uniform. Counting the days !!!!!

Thanks Keith. I certainly did a thorough job, only 4 ribs left intact + a few other bits & bobs bashed about. 14' fall direct onto hard road.,

I cannot do any active modelling at present but plenty planned.

Michael,

Well, with those damaged ribs, we better not try to make you laugh - that would be painful!

No, on second thought, here's a joke for you (source: Legends of America website):

A man and a woman, who had never met before, found themselves assigned to the same sleeping room on a transcontinental train. Although initially embarrassed and uneasy over sharing a room, the two are tired and fall asleep quickly -- he in the upper bunk and she in the lower. At 2:00 a.m., he leans over and gently wakes the woman, saying, "Ma'am, I'm sorry to bother you, but would you be willing to reach into the closet to get me a second blanket? I'm awfully cold." "I have a better idea," she replies. "Just for tonight, let's pretend that we're married." "Wow! That's a great idea!!" he exclaims. "Good," she replies. "Get your own damn blanket."

Thanks Keith,

or, as my wife is cruelly saying "For better or worse, currently a lot worse" ! She has been an Angel (always marry your second wife first)

You may be hearing from my Pain Management Attorney - coughing, sneezing or laughing is absolute hell.

Regards Michael
