First I have no idea why its Road Name would be ATSF.  Is that an aftermarket labeling perhaps?

But, that will be redone eventually.  I am more concerned with how it works.  My intention would be to convert it to BPRC and use it as a branchline switcher or maybe motive power to/from a mining or logging industry.

Yes, I know it is not really US but I really like some of the European engines and will make something up as to why my RR has some (or one, or whatever).

Can anyone tell me about it?  I really cannot find much about it.

Si, I do not get the avatars, especially the last one. But I think you are saying this is not a good model. Or you do not like it?

But something else just occurred to me - is Pola Maxi not 1 gauge? I wonder if the seller has the gauge wrong?

The 'Emoticons' are people thinking about the loco.

The last one is a 'Bottom'...
...since we are looking at the locos bottom.

Fairly straight forward, I thought.

Si.

It IS O-Gauge.

these locos where first brought out as a kit from pola maxi
if you google on pola maxi T3 you will find more details
I believe a lot of that old stuf was later produced under the name AHM, biller bahn and rai mo
if you start googeling with one off those names will give you plenty off info

http://spur-0-kaufhaus.de/Zuruestsatz-T3-PolaMaxi
here you still can buy parts for it if you can find one

in my opinion, it's a germen engine, will be a bit oversized i think compare to other USA engines

don't know if these are good runners , looking at the gears i dont think so

With couplers like that you could get the neighbor's Dachshund to drag it around--It wouldn't need to run
