A C Stadden. http://www.acstadden.co.uk
They look great but because of all the details are hard to paint.

I had a quick look at the site http://www.acstadden.co.uk. Some of those will work in an Australian setting. Thanks for the pointer.

Hi Alwin

The NEW diorama looks like a MOOSER to me !

I like the idea of the A4-paper footprint for the challenge.
I think you said ANY scale is allowed in this format
since your 'Nature Takes Over' dio. is 1/4"

All the 'old city' stonework looks top-notch !
The ladies are very well dressed as well !

Nice work Alwin.
Looking forward to you Posting some more pix.

All the best

Hi Si,

There are no regulations to scale or theme.
Basically tho only rule is the size, footprint A4 and not higher than an A4 (297mm).

A few more photo's.
And before I forget, everything except the people are scratch build.

Hi Alwin

WOW !
There seem to be so many angles to see.
In such a small space as well.

Nice pix. !
I expected more streets & houses...
...but a BLACKSMITH !
Didn't see that one coming.

Now...
...I just bet you've got another interior hidden away there ! ?

Alwin.

First photo or two, I thought--rather narrow street with one figure. Well, you can't do much in such a confined space.

Then more photos--Boy was I ever wrong!!

Great job Alwin, you deserve the Herb special commendation, only awarded when I feel something is worthy.

So

Well deserved!

Herb

Very interesting concept with the claustrophobic lanes and beautifully modelled Alwin. Looking forward to more.

Thanks Doug.

There is not much more to show of this diorama.
Two years I build a diorama for the contest, not anymore this year.
It takes up a lot of time and I want to spend it on other things.

Just discovered this thread, Alwin.
I love your work.
I wish my eyes would allow me to work in 1/87...!!!
