It seems the Lionel trolley doesn't like FasTrack.  The wheel flanges are too wide for the rail profile - I can hear the wheels hitting the ties.
I took a Bachmann trolley from the On30 donor mechanisms and set up EZTrack and it's good to go.
Side note:  The Bachmann rail buses don't run well at all on EZTrack - another flange/rail height issue.

Making a little progress on the Model A rail truck.  The front truck is from a Bachmann On30 combo car.  The wire is the power pickup from the front truck - hoping to have working headlights.

Sort of a mockup.  I need to cut a slot in the floor of the truck and slide the grooved band around the Tom Thumb drive unit into the slot.

This project is also underway.  The truck for the rail truck came from this car.  Power unit is an old Athearn F7.
