Trouble will scale up as well naturally Si.

So I think poor Theodor really can't be made responsible for this. 🙂

Hi Juergen

I believe that 'Dr.Sartorius' may be a specialist 7/8ths figure ?

Just wondered where you are finding your 7/8ths figures from.

How do the 1:12 Tamiya motor-racing guys look for your 7/8ths project ?

:moose:

Si.

Hi Si,
Dr. Sartorius comes from the Archie McPhee Action Figures range and is 13,3cm tall and so is a rather well scaled guy for 1:13,7.

Dr. Sartorius assistant is the chief mechanic from a Tamiya Figure Set. He is in 1:12 and normally to big for my scale. But in his kneeing position size is not so obvious, apart from the head size. The figure in the picture is a loan from a friend. The set is no longer produced by Tamiya, but I had the luck to find one available that is on it's way to me.

The nosy penguin likes to hover around in Dr. Sartorius nearness for some time past. Should take care not to buckle his beak.

Hi,
the next figure I want to introduce, is Emilia. A female loco driver at the Toeffelholm Island Railway.

The figure has been develloped and sold by Si Harris from MODELEARTH.
The figure has been offered at the 7/8th Lounge as "Bob" in a limited number of 25.

SE Lounge - "Bob" (1)
SE Lounge - "Bob" (2)

A girl as loco driver is surely quite unusual for the time of the late 20's, where my Island railway stories take place. But Emila has always been interested in technical things and any kind of machines and if your father is the count of Toeffelholm and owner of the Railway who always endeavours to meet his daughters wishes, it is a different thing.

Hi,
sorry, didn't consider that the SE lounge need a membership to access.

Emily's constant companion is her cat Arthus

I found this wonderful figure in the Swedish dollhouse shop:

Hi Juergen

Things are getting BIGGER ! on Toeffelholm fer sure these days ! ;)

The figures are looking good.

Dr.Sartorius & his Formula-1 crane mechanic seem to be doing a good job getting those rusty ol' Victorian cog-wheels up to mooodern '20s steampunk spec. !

Kitty looks cute.

I do have a slight issue with Emilias side-burns though.

:moose:

Si.

I got my 1:12 Formula-1 figures & tools, as the small individual kits, back in the '80s.
Quite hard to find now, as you said.
But, I don't know if you've seen, Tamiya re-boxed ALL 5 sets in 2008, and re-released them as the 'Motorsports Team Set' Tamiya 12506

Sorry Juergen.

I shouldn't really comment on Emilias 'face furniture'.

Now ... Emerson Fittipaldi ... you could forgive me for ! ;)
