Nah Si. No problem.

Criticism is always welcome.
I only didn't first understand the term "side burns" in your comment.

Yes, may be the hair could have been modeled a bit thinner there,
but I like it though and Emilia is well liked by the whole male railway staff.

:)

Hi Juergen

Yes indeed, comment rather than, criticism.

I am a better comic than critic, but probably not that funny either. ;)

I'll leave the 'criticism' to the rivet-counters. :f:

'Mrs. Train-show' & her daughter,

will no doubt have much to say regarding Emilia !

'Mr. Train-show',

will no doubt get a sharp jab in the ribs with the handbag,

if he likes her that much !!

;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

:moose:

Si.

P.S.

It's purely a coincidence that Emerson Fittipaldi is a Brazilian by the way.

He never got the 'big money' Gillette(TM) sponsorship for his teams either.

:bg:

Here are two further characters,
who will get a place in the Toeffelholm chronicles.

Rosalie and her daughter Mathilde.

Rosalie and Mathilde have established a coffee and cake stall,
next to the station of Lungwai.

Both figures are from the 1:12 dollhouse range,
but fit quite good the 7/8ths scale when shortened a bit in height.

Found them at:

I found a further figure for my 1:13 universe.

It's Ofelia from Guillermo del Toro's film "Pan's Labyrinth".

She's 13 cm tall, fully articulated,
and comes together with a book, a mystically carved stone pillar, and 3 little fairies.

Another very nice figure from the action figure range,
is a Dr. Who figure in one of his appearances,
that I already showed in another thread
.

He's now working as apple planter on Toeffelholm.

Here in a little flirt with Mathilde at the (still unfinished) coffee stall.

This is, or better this was,
a "Buffy the Vampire slayer" action figure.

Heavily modified by my late best friend,
which has given her a completely different character.

Buffie M. Lejeune, like my friend called her,
now found a good job at the Toeffelholm Archeological Institute,
and sometimes works as a supply teacher at the local school.

One of my most nicely and detailed modeled figures,

is the female station guard from Si Harris of Modelearth.

A real masterpiece to my mind.

A pity just not painted yet.

Yes

And a Festiniog Railway or Rheilffordd Ffestiniog Station Master as well.

Reminds me of my fireman/driver days there,

alas some 30 years ago....

By the way, Emilia has gone to the hairstylist,

and has now a new side-burn-free hairdo !  ;)

Figure by Si Harris, Modelearth

Hi Juergen

Vidal Sassoon obviously !  [whack]

Great to see your new LARGE figures.

Save me some cake !

Dr. Who (Tom Baker) can core those apples from the inside, outwards !

Those 'Sonic Screwdrivers' are handy in the kitchen as well you know !!

The conversion of 'Buffy' from famous vampire killer is excellent !  :thumb:

I have always liked the other figures your friend did as well.

:java: :)
