Thorsten,
I like it very much. Great job. I am really interested in the sound. It looks like you used a DelTang receiver. I did not think sound was capable with DelTang. Can you share more information on your sound system?
Bob

First! Thank you two.@ Bob: The sound I use is from the 99 Elias, a German loco in a box. You´ll find it here: http://www.d-i-e-t-z.de . I also take a sound module from there - and no, I don´t use DelTang - I like this system very much - but it is impossible to make automatic, computerised traffic. I drive with a selektrix 2 system. The power come from the track.@ Si: Yes the light looks very hard, the reason is the small light I use for pics and movie-making. I drive with 12 V and the lights have 14 V so they aren´t in trouble, just my eyes - next time I try 16 V lamps, maybe it´s more realistic.Oh - by the way - I had visitors: I think I heard something like "Who let the dog out?"

Hi Thorsten
I haven't seen the video, but I'm sure it's GREAT !
So, no comment from me, on 'hardness' or 'realism'...
...I tend to leave the 'rivet-counting' to others anyway.
( I loose count by 10 anyway )
My 'be careful', was just to say, don't blow 'em up, they look tricky to replace.
Looks like you got 'em running 'low' anyhow, which is good.
I'm a big fan of filament-bulbs.
Tricky to get the same effect from an LED.
Yellow & orange don't really cut it, so that leaves the harsh white ones.
Best way I've found to 'tame' those, is by using a filter.
Some 'chocolate wrappers' work OK, with a bit of experiment.
I have a filter-sample book from 'Lee Lighting' which is a very cool thing to have for such experiments.
Tell 'em you're a big time Hollywood producer, making a $1M movie about trains, they might send you one.
Looks like the critter painting is going well also.
Keep up the great work !

Si.
