Hi guys,does any one have recommendations for the values of  disc capacitors used as a spark quench on HO model motors?.......cheers Peter.

Is somewhat depending on the motor -but anything between 10nF and 100nF will work.

L is a ferrite nodule with 6..8 turns of wire around it.

1:32 racing driver, B.J. (leadfoot) Matua, has been known to test drive up to 1uF of Mullard 'tropical-fish' polyester, in his Chevy Impala with it's 30,000 RPM motor !
