Posting photos on forums is one of those things that should be universal like the pedals in a car.  Unfortunately, it's not. It is like the credit card readers in stores, all different.

In a thread, I tried posting 6 pictures.  When I uploaded the first one, fine.  There was no "load more" button so I went ahead and loaded the next, the next, etc.  When I previewed, only the last one was there!  Seems each upload over writes the last.

I know it can be done as I have seen posts with multiple photos in the body of the text.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi Peter.

I'm sure we can sort this out.

What computer & browser are you using.

It helps to know, as certain combinations, such as Mac/Safari are troublesome.

Si.

I take it you have been using the 'G' button in the main Reply window ?

Hi again Peter.

I just looked at your 'test' in another Thread you started.

I'm not sure exactly what you're doing.

Have you read the existing info on how to upload photos to the Members Gallery here at Freerails ?

Using the 'G'-button, which SHOULD appear in the main Reply window, is the way to Post more than 1 photo per Reply.

How about using the Freerails gallery for your photos? That's what I use and I can post as many pix as the law allows! The gallery is the easiest way I know of to use and post photos, I have tried them all(all that matters!). It's as easy as falling off a log, I have done that also.

Woodie, I tried to find the gallery to post there but cannot find it. I read it was supposed to be one of the choices in the menu but all I get are:

Recent
My account
Members
Calendar
Help.

Again, I am using a PC with Win 10 and the latest version of Firefox.

Hi Peter.

Go to the Account tab on Menu tab.

Now, in your user preferences...

...change 'Board THEME' to 'Ultra' ... (or 'AIBlue').

You should now see the 'G'-button in the main Reply window.

Si.

I'm guessong you were usong the green 'Sea' Theme before.

The 'G' has not been visible in 'Sea' or 'Simple' user board Themes.

OK Si, that did work.  BTW, I like the blue color much better.

Now, how do I make pictures appear in posts from the gallery to look like the post from Milocomarty I showed you?

I'll keep messing with it.................
