OK my eyeball's were getting crossed trying to thread GRANDT nut/washer casting's ontothe grab irons I need for the plow and boxcar. So I tackled the Charuto aka Cigar tank car.A length of plastic tubing and a couple of fishing float's later, mounted on a BACKMANN flat car it is coming along.

I found the floats in Canadian Tire, which has a sporting
section and no that is not what I went to get!. Bought the
biggest ones I could find then cut them down to fit.
The cut off's were used to model a water tank I saw in Peru.
The end cap's cone shaped were found in a O2IT drawer, no
idea where they came from. From the looks of it, I figured
two cement mixer drum's were used to built the prototype ?.
The main body is 1&1/4 Inch's in diameter by 3&3/8 Inch's.
Need to add piping then put aside until I have a couple of
other models to paint at same time.
