I have only used "TESTORS" putty or "Squadron Products" White Putty myself.

The Testors putty has a small outlet, the White Putty has a 1/4 inch opening.

The putty gave it a rough and beatup look, short of the dent in the tank side.

:)

Along with the second ladder I also need to add a few grab irons.

Need to review the photos to see if both sides need them  :bang:  :bang:

How about some suggestions for the hatch?

The hatch started life as a HO chemical tank car dome if I recall.

I filed off the details, then added a pair of HO Grandt Line hinges and 3 bits from my junk box which resembled clamps.

:!:L:

The dome was a logical best guess as to the prototype construction.

I salvaged the ladder from you guessed it :bang: from the

TRI-ANG chemical tank car, have more suitable ladders for

it in my collection, tad bulky for OO/HO works great for

1/48th though.

Inspired by the Tanque Charuto I created my own fat tank car, or the Tanque Gordo.

I had to shorten the body to fit my standard car frame.  Still needs work but it's getting there.

Perhaps Spainish might be considered.

INFLAMABLE
Mantenga Alejado Del Fuego

"Keep away from fire"

ZONA DE NO FUMADORES

"Non Smoking Area"
