" Really like those trucks "

Hi Michael

Yeah ... I do as well ... T     C   L  !

A bit of a diversion from "Tanque Charuto" ...  L:

... but Hey ! we all like funky trucks & oDd tank cars right ?  ;)

MONSTEROUS things in OO-Scale ... Even by 'Tri-ang' standards.  :P  ;)

Originally used for a few years only I believe, on their very very early 'shorty' L.M.S. coaches.

But with a few metalwork mods. on the heavy diecasting & nice new 'Hornby' metal wheelsets ...

... these mid 1950s made eBay buys, are pretty ACE ! for a funky 1:35n2 car shop !  :)

Nearest trucks I've got to the slightly oDd lookin' ones on that ^^ 'Tanque Gordo'.

:pimp:

Si.

Still needs a few things.
This will be for hauling diesel fuel.
Thinking that it will be assigned to the salt works, or even make it a private-owned car.

:glad::glad::glad: it has turned out to be a great looking tank car, like the paint job.

I am still hung up making a second ladder for my Tanque Charuto, had a few 1/1 projects to clear off the list first.

Out of town :glad::glad::glad: for a few days, for some research on yet another project,

hopefully I will come across at the moment missing information.

When I was building the tank car (Tanque Gordo) I was thinking it might be just a bit too large.

But, when compared to a few of my other cars it looks to be about right.

With some quick calculations I figure this tank car would hold about 175 gallons in real life.

Note the clean workbench.  Won't see that again for a long time.

Looks like it fit's right in with your other cars,

certain your work bench will not stay clean for long,

mine never gets as clean :2t::2t:

Hi Michael & Ken

YEP ! ... The size looks pretty nice in relation to your figures.  :thumb:

A good looking size compared to the other cars as well.

I think that is important when car building & something I always scratch my chin about.  L:

;)
