Hello everyone. I am David and I guess I am a new member. I know many of you from other forums, but I used to be a member here. I guess I got lost

Anyhoo, I do GN15 and G9 and have been somewhat dormant for a year or so. It is time to start again and I just purchased a 1/2" scale Herb Deeks mining loco and 3 ore cars from Ozark Miniatures. Really nice folks. Time to start on tracks and make something happen.
Bye for now

Be great to see some pix. as you build the 1/2" stuff.

We have lurking large-scalers who love a bit of mining.

Welcome, David!
You will find that while it is a small community here, the members who are here have a lot of good info and it’s a lot of fun looking at everything people are up to.
There are some VERY good modelers here and we tend to gravitate away from mainstream modeling, so your plans will almost certainly be well received!
Like Si already suggested, get the ball rolling. We’d all like to see what you’ve done so far and where you’re going with it!

Howdy David, welcome to Freerails! I know you will enjoy it here, we have some Gn15 dudes and others following really obscure scales. Get some stuff built and show it off here.

Woodie
