Hi all,

One of the outfits that has appeared in Vol 1,
and is probably very likely to return in more detail in Vol 2,
is Britton Brothers and their swamp railway.

Have a look at
http://nichaygarth.com/index.php/tag/brittons-swamp/
You'll need to scroll to the bottom to see the "locomotives".

Hi all,

Mark Fry has advised that Volume 2 of 'On Splintered Rails',
is now available and ready for dispatch from Tasmania.

There is a waiting list for those copies allocated to those who have Volume 1,
but no longer want their numerically matched copy of Volume 2.

In the message about Volume 2, the title suggests that the book will be targeted
at the north west and north central coast logging areas of Tasmania.

Those of you on here that have previously contacted Mark about Volume 2 availability,
should have been contacted.

If you haven't been contacted yet, then I suggest a quick email to Mark,
to check that he has your details might be in order,
using the email address in Post #15 above.

Hi all,

I'll have to wait for Christmas day to open my Christmas present from my wife.  :bang:

It was impounded on arrival at my place - She beat me to the Postman...

John

I'm having trouble finding, "post 15,"
so I can contact Mark regarding Vol. 2 of "On Splintered Rails."

Can you point me to the right direction please?

I would very much like to buy a copy and was devastated that I missed Vol 1.
I'd hate to miss this one too.

Thank you, Dennis Thompson

"The Climax Locomotive," Oso Publishing Co.

Too old to do that kind of thing again anytime soon.

Hi Dennis,

Try   markfryoldina4 @ gmail.com   (remove the spaces)

I can supply a phone number by PM if required,
but I'd prefer not to post that here in this message.

Good Luck, I know there is a waiting list.

There might be still some delay, as the number of books available is determined,
and the waiting list is worked through, on a "first come - first served" basis.

Hi Dennis,

Send me a Private Message if you need more information.

Click on my 'Oztrainz' tag and the "Send PM" button,
if you haven't used this functionality before.

This opens up a window that looks like a normal Forum message area,
that comes direct to me.

Thank you very much John.

I just sent an email using the info. from your other reply.

I just finished an email to Mark.
