Mark has numerous article's in the Narrow Gauge Downunder magazine on Tasmanian logging over the years.
Thanks for forwarding that Ken. For those that may be interested in a collection of some amazing logging images and anecdotes, this will certainly be a great book for the collection. The other really nice thing about it being that all proceeds go towards a great cause. See some more info on the flyer below.
Thanks for posting the information about Mark Fry's book. Mark's Tasmanian articles were the reason I started my subscription to Narrow Gauge Downunder back in Summer / Autumn 2000. My subscription continues to this day.
I will have to order this book and a second copy for my local train club library.
Please note, this is not an ordering process just yet. This is an expression of interest request from Mark Fry (the author) as they are trying to get a fairly accurate printing volume established (as far as hard cover vs soft cover options), for the reason that the proceeds are towards a kids cancer charity, so they want to try and get the demand right, and maximise the donation that will result in the end (as opposed to be stuck with a heap of the wrong style of book that generates no funds for the charity). Sorry if that caused any confusion.
