Hi Herb and others.

I have to agree with Herb that I am also very happy with my copy (2 copies).

The second copy will go to my local train clubs library.

I also have pre-ordered 2 copies of 'Vol 2' when it is finished.

My first copy was received on 21 Dec and the second copy arrived on 26 Dec 2017.

Hi all,
I had to wait for Christmas day to open my Christmas present from my wife. :2t:

It was impounded on arrival at my place - She beat me to the Postman...

It truly is a magnificent book with hours of information to be digested and absorbed.

Well done Mark and Ang Fry :bow::bow:

Hi Dennis,

Volume 1 was sold out - both in hard and soft cover.
Your best chance now is to keep an eye on the Aussie second-hand book market.

Volume 2 is still in preparation.
Progress on Volume 2 has been drastically slowed by Mark being involved in a very serious road accident late last year.
If you are interested in getting a copy of volume 2 then please send an "expression of interest" direct to Mark Fry at :-

markfryoldina4@gmail.com

The way this works is the size of the print run is set by the "expressions of interest" received.
Anyone who has purchased Volume 1 will be contacted directly by Mark when Volume 2 is ready for printing,
to confirm that they are still interested in purchasing either a soft or hardcover version of Volume 2.

My understanding from talking with Mark at the Australian Narrow Gauge Convention last Easter,
is that Volume 2 is still being worked on and is getting close to a "final draft",
prior to test printing and intensive proof reading.

For anyone who has seen Volume 1, I can vouch that Volume 2 will be well worth the wait.

Yes, Vol.#1 is well worth the price, which I am told benefits children's concerns.
Many of the lokies and roads shown would make wonderful models.
Vol.#2 should be chock full of more incredible modeling ideas.
Those interested in radio control would love the idea of small unusual equipment running on peeled wooden logs!
Can't do that with DCC.
Look for Vol.#1 and buy it and consider showing interest in Vol.#2, you won't be sorry.
