So it's been a while since an update, and I feel like I should tell you the status of the real road right now!

Track work was completed with a funky two stall engineer house for the 4-4-0 and a porter. I eventually got annoyed with the configuration and ripped out the track in preparation for a roundtable. For now that project is on a back burner when I determine the size after new locomotive acquisitions.

Onto to the new locomotives, the OF 4-4-0 is at Bachmann so I am awaiting it to return. As of running locomotives, I now have a 0-4-2, Climax, Forney, and a 4-6-0. The Ten Wheeler is for a future On3 project, so the rest will be for the mining railroad. The 0-4-2 and Climax both sound, so I've been working on the Forney to have DCC Sound as well.

The only rolling stock is a variety mix of words side dumps and V-dumps. Hopefully I'm trying to get a Derrick car and some MOW cars to round off the collection!

Will take pictures of the layout and it's unfinished buildings when I get home though.

It's been a while, but it's like to reintroduce you to the Stoney Creek Mining Co.!

New structures on the layout consist of the kitbash two stall engineer, with the water tower, truss bridge, headframe, and switch tunnel portal all being scratchbuilt.

The locomotive roster has expanded to include #1 (0-4-2), #2 (Climax), #3 (Forney), #4 (2-6-0), and the future #5 (Shay). They will be housed in my new railyard section, which now has a Kitwood 11.5" turntable.

There is still much to do, including Tortoise switch installation, track and controls for the turntable and railyard area, and lighting for the caverns (which have also expanded a bit).

Will return later once I can get to my computer to upload more photos for you guys to enjoy!
