This past weekend I was able to visit the O scale traction layout built by Bill Hadley of Fort Worth TX. Bill is building a freelanced layout with the flavor of the local traction lines that radiated from Fort Worth Texas back in the  early 20th century. He is doing some nice work. He is to the point where he is now working on stringing overhead wire. Here are a few pictures I took on my visit.

Hi Phil

This looks like an AWESOME layout.

I think Herb is gonna like this one !

The buildings & bridges look excellent.

The overhead is really nice as well.

Thanks for the great photos Phil.

Yup!

Very nice - like the long gray factory especially.

Steeple cab and boxcar with the same number? ;-)

Herb

Yes, a very nice layout! And...it is "nearby" and is "Texas-based". A lot going for it.
