Si, when we lived in our daughter's garden, a pretty large plot, I could see the nail holes in the old garage building's doors a good 50 feet away. It was poorly maintained and the old black tar varnish I put on when I was there one weekend had partly fallen off and went grey, which allowed some (not all, admittedly) of the nail holes to show. And if it adds a little atmosphere, I'm all over it.

I'm away to make a brass master of a distinctive S-Shaped chair for a Festiniog Railway set-piece. I have just got an old 60's GEM white metal brake van. I was in that area in the 60's and used to play at Boston Lodge Works any time I liked. I really should have made an FR set-piece long before now. I have cine, put onto VHS which now needs to be put onto DVD! The FR and the Penrhyn were the only narrow gauge railways to use bullhead rail and proper chars. I know this'll offend all you Americans, but I hate flat bottomed rail and spikes. For me, proper track has chairs

Cheers,
Martin

William, yup, but I no longer have a passport and no wish to get one at that price!
