Amtrak and wildfire.
Whoa, what else can ya say.
"Tip-toeing toward the MP 387.9 grade crossing, with an XH to have its train's conductor come out and flag due to power outages, Amtrak 769 crawls through Faira Beach as the front of the Thomas Fire eats the dry vegetation above US 101 in the background. "

I wonder if that track is now closed just like the 101 - from the mudslides. I cannot imagine it is not closed.

Well it looks like Amtrak is open and added cars to the trains to help people that normally commute on the 101.

The line was down for a couple days, pic of the line after the mudslide:
