I've been following Keith's postings for a while. Great stuff and very helpful in interpreting the Gilpin Tram. I haven't posted much on my Gilpin Module, I am proto freelancing, so to speak, and call my module the Arroyo Tram. I occasionally post progress on my bog: http://modelingnarrowguage.blogspot.com/ there is nothing on my website about it.
So, I don't think you've missed anything. Its a small switching layout, 24 inches by 96 inches. Slowly, and I mean slowly, I've been making progress. Too many distractions.....
Looks like the roads there had as much tough terrain to negotiate as the rails !
Kevin said this :-
" ... these are different views of the areas around Black Hawk and some of the mines up in the hills served by the Gilpin.
I have no idea the year that these photos were taken, but I imagine they were all photographed around the same time.
If I have identified any of these incorrectly please let me know.
It is only because of this forum that I was able to identify anything at all in these photos."
