This section of my layout was removed recently to make room for something new.
I took a couple of photos before destroying the scenery.
I saved the buildings and vehicles.

A nice little town, reminds me of some of the places shown in Keith's Gilpin Tram thread. Glad you kept the structures, how about building another layout?

I tore this one out to build another.
I keep layouts for no more than 2 years before ripping them out and starting a new one.
I keep the structures and details.
I've been building layouts for almost 70 years and have never gotten the perfect one yet.
I don't run trains.  Ever.
I just like to build and when I run out of room I start over again.
Sorta like that guy in Texas with the layout in his backyard.

Woodie,
I follow Keith's Gilpin threads carefully.
I love his scenery.
I love your layout, too.
I have never been fond of round and round high speed streamliner layouts.
I have always preferred desert scenes.
And mountain scenes with mines in them.
This mine is from my layout in 1986.
It has traveled from California to Alaska to Idaho.
Still one of my favorite models.
